Tai Chi with Russell—1:15pm to 2:15pm (Exercise Intensity: )
The flowing movements of tai chi contain much inner strength, like water flowing in a river. Beneath the tranquil surface there is a current with immense power—the power for healing and wellness. With consistent practice, people will be able to move in a way that will restore health and maintain proper alignment of the body during external stress of the body, such as being able to lift a heavy object without injuring the back or shoulder. This class will focus on the simple Yang Family style 16 form to start, with emphasis in keeping balance while moving in all directions. We recommend loose clothing and a short sleeve shirt, and thin-sole shoes to be able to feel the floor.

Zumba with Amanda—5:30pm to 6:30pm (Exercise Intensity: )
For everybody and every body, Zumba takes the “work” out of workout by mixing low intensity and high intensity moves for an interval style, calorie burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.  Ditch the workout and join the party! Burn calories while doing aerobics to Latin and international music. We’ll move to the beats of salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton, belly dance, flamenco and more. Super effective? Check! Super fun? Check and check!

Yoga Lunch Break with Carole—11:30am to 12:00pm (Exercise Intensity: )
Based on Yin yoga, Yoga Lunch Break is that half hour of time for yourself that you tend not to take during your busy work day. Take this time to breathe, stretch and be present to the needs and wisdom of your body. We move mindfully into and out of poses, and hold each one a bit longer than in other forms of yoga. This helps to bring openness and greater flexibility, as the stretch moves through our muscles and into our connective tissue. This is a slower-paced class, open to all levels of experience. It is a space of non-judgement, and all are celebrated. Yoga mat is needed.
